Church Facts:
What is the Ukrainian Catholic Church?
The Catholic Church is comprised of 23 sui iuris (autonomous churches) in full communion with one another and the Pope. The Ukrainian Catholic Church is the second-largest sui iuris with approximately 4.1 million members, second only to the Latin Church (St. Margaret of York belongs to the Latin sui iuris).
What is an Archeparchy?
An eparchy is a territorial diocese governed by a bishop and is divided into parishes, in the same manner, we are familiar with. In simple terms, an Eparchy is a Diocese and Archeparchy is the equivalent of an Archdiocese.
