Found House - Interfaith Housing Network
Our ministry helps families overcome homelessness. St. Columban hosts 4 families 3 times a year. It takes many volunteers and donations for this program to be successful! Members of the SMOY Social Action Commission and St. Columban Found House Ministry will be in the Narthex after Mass on March 8-9 to discuss our programs. The Social Action Commission is interested in recruiting new members. The Found House program houses homeless families in the former St. Columban convent. Our next host period is 3/30-4/9. Please stop by to see how you can help.
How You Can Help:
To volunteer your time
To view a refresher about the volunteer roles
To make a food and supply donation
We are grateful to those who drop off gift cards so we can purchase specific items for those that are staying with us. We don't know who will be staying with us until shortly before they arrive, so there's a lot of shopping to do at the last minute.
We’ll have a box at SMOY to receive donations the week of 3/23-3/29. The other host weeks will be August 10 and November 9. Questions? Please don't hesitate to contact Jenny Collado 513-600-3821 or jennyc@zoomtown.com. Thank you.
