Faith lifts the soul. Hope supports it. Experience says it must. And Love says let it be!
– St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
St. Margaret of York offers opportunities for everyone—kids, teens, and adults—to explore and deepen their faith, no matter where they are in life’s journey.
In the midst of life’s busyness, fostering a personal relationship with God and finding community in the Church can bring meaningful support and guidance for both parents and children.
Journeying Together as Families
Our parish provides a welcoming community for both parents and children, offering friendship and support along the way. Moms connect with other moms, dads build friendships with other dads, and young children make their first “Church friends.”
We embrace families at every stage—from pregnancy to elementary-age kids—and “family” here means all shapes and sizes: married couples, single parents, adoptive families, and whether you have one child or many. If you have older children as well as younger ones, bring the whole family—we welcome everyone!
Whole Family – Family Faith
The family is where the Gospel is first shared and lived out. As parents, you have the unique privilege of being your child’s primary guide in faith. The Catholic Church calls the home the “domestic Church” because the everyday moments you share as a family are sacred.
Our Family Faith program is designed to help families set aside intentional time throughout the year to grow in faith together. Parents are equipped to embrace their role as the primary catechists of their children, while children learn and build friendships with their peers.
Faith is brought to life through family-friendly service and fellowship opportunities, allowing families to connect, serve, and grow together. This program not only fits into your busy schedules but also creates meaningful moments for faith conversations and fosters connections with other Catholic families.
