Carillon Park: Wednesday, September 10, 2025
Heart & Soul will visit Dayton’s Carillon Historical Park, one of America’s finest regional history museums. Over 40 buildings feature Dayton’s unique contributions to the world including the airplane, the cash register and the electric automobile self-starter. Transportation will be via ride sharing for the 45 minute drive to the park and leaving promptly at 9:30 am from the parking lot near Carrabba’s Restaurant in Mason. Please plan to arrive by 9:15am. NOTE: updated Entry Fee to the park is $12 per person and is paid at the park entrance. The group will meet for lunch (your tab) at 12:30 pm at the Carillon Brewing Company on the park grounds. We will return to Carrabba’s leaving around 2:30 pm. Please RSVP to the EVITE to be emailed or email heartandsoul@smoy.org by September 3rd.
Tech Talk: Monday, September 15, 2025
Heart and Soul will be resuming the Tech Talk series with Ted Hacker on Monday September 15th at 7:00 pm in the York Room downstairs under the gathering space. The session will be from 7:00-8:30 pm (after 6:00 pm Mass and Rosary). There will be a short review of previous subjects before Ted dives into the new AI technology. This session is typically theory so you will not need to bring your computer. The York Room is smaller so send your reservation to heartandsoul@smoy.org or respond to your Evite by Friday September 12th.
Family Picnic: Sunday, September 28, 2025
Join H&S for a Family Picnic at Leming Shelter at Symmes Park from 12:30 -4:00 pm. Please bring children and grandchildren, fun events planned like face painting, cornhole, basketball, music and a large playground. Hamburgers/Hotdogs/soft drinks provided, please bring a side dish or tasty treat to share. FYI, no Sunday Bengals game so enjoy the early Fall weather with fellow parishioners and their families!! BYOB. Look for an Evite in the next couple of weeks.
