We are excited to share updates about Curtis Gross and Peter Hoffman during the Jubilee of Seminarians, June 23-24.

Deacon Curtis Gross was recently ordained to the diaconate and is now serving on the West Side of Cincinnati with the newly named St. John Bosco Family of Parishes. Deacon Curtis has begun his ministry with great joy and dedication, and we look forward to hearing more about how the Lord is working through him in this next chapter of his vocation.

Meanwhile, Peter Hoffman just returned from a pilgrimage. He said, “Fr. Dan Hess led our class on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage through Spain. Together, we hiked more than 100 miles, which culminated at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela where the remains of St. James are buried. It was a joy-filled, challenging journey that enabled us to witness our Catholic faith and vocations to fellow pilgrims from all over the world. As part of a list of intentions and prayers I brought with me, I prayed for my SMOY family of priests, parishioners, and staff each day. I am so thankful for the support and prayers of my home parish! This summer, my parish assignment is at St. Rose in Cincinnati where I will be living, working, and serving. In the fall, I am looking forward to continuing at Mount St. Mary's and beginning the discipleship stage as a Pre-Theology seminarian.”

Please continue to keep both Curtis and Peter in your prayers as they grow in faith and prepare for a life of service to the Church.Original 4366808f Cf2b 49f5 Af7f 1b89b08a7bc3
